SKATE FOR HEART 2012!

Join us on February 12th for the 6th annual Skate for Heart in Bathurst, NB and help save a life!

The Bathurst Skate for Heart happens each year and the community comes together and puts their heart into skating for such an important cause in our province, heart disease and stroke. Last year everyone who took part put their hearts into it and raised over $23,000.00!  

A guaranteed fun-packed afternoon for the whole family which will include health information booths, games for all ages, live entertainment, contests, 50/50 draw, silent auction, door prizes, and heart healthy snacks. Teams are made up of business staff, families, friends and students with a total of 5-20 people per team. Children and adults alike are encouraged to participate and track the number of laps they complete throughout the day. We also encourage families who are not part of a team to come out and skate for the afternoon.

Skate For Heart is a non-competitive skating event for all skill levels. It incorporates families, businesses and heart and stroke survivors. This event is focused on; increasing physical activity, nutrition, health, fun and fundraising.

The event also features:
