The Mud Run for Heart is a rugged 5 km run taking place on June 25 at Poley Mountain. We will be holding a brand new run this year in Edmundston named Course dans la boue pour le coeur, which will happen on July 9 at Centre plein air Mont Farlagne. Lives saved, now and in the future
It has been a powerhouse partnership that has already saved lives and will continue to do so: over the past three years, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, with funding from the Public Health Agency of
Canada, has placed 3,234 automated external defibrillators in rinks and rec centres coast to coast to coast, and trained more than 25,000 people how to use them. The program ended March 31. Our infographic highlights the program’s successes.

KPMG helps employees prepare for the unexpected
Last fall, the KPMG Foundation launched a three-year program of CPR/AED learning
sessions led by HSF-affiliated instructors. The free sessions are open to KPMG
people, friends, families and local community members. The program will train
an estimated 1,500 people across the country by July, 2018.
