New Brunswick Resources

The Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick is a volunteer driven health charity dedicated to reducing the death and disability from the number one killers of Canadians - heart disease and stroke - through research and health promotion activities.

The fruit of the Foundation-funded research is knowledge that now fuels many of our health promotion activities. Today, in addition to research funding, we recognize prevention as the key in the fight against heart disease and stroke. We are committed to providing significant funding to support health promotion initiatives that teach the value of healthy lifestyles and early recognition of heart disease and stroke. These activities place us front and centre in large and small communities across the province. Programs like Heart to Heart, a rehabilitation program for heart patients and their partners, and its counterpart Partners in Stroke Recovery; Hearts in Motion walking program and Jump Rope for Heart, an educational program that helps elementary students get active and learn about healthy lifestyles are placing New Brunswickers one step closer to the Foundation's dream: a future free from heart disease and stroke. Equipping people with the knowledge and skills to deal with a cardiac emergency or stroke through the Foundation's Emergency Cardiac Care programs are helping people save lives.

Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick has a large collection of health information resources available free of charge. On this page, you can browse through our resource library. If there is a cost associated with a certain item, it is indicated next to that particular item.
