What to do about the H1N1 flu
Individuals with chronic medical conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, severe obesity, kidney disease, among others, may be at increased risk of catching H1N1 and of developing serious complications from the flu, such as pneumonia or respiratory distress. The Public Health Agency of Canada recommends that if you have any of these conditions, you should speak to your healthcare provider about getting the H1N1 vaccine, as well as your seasonal flu shot.
